Spring Sports Programs Produce 40 NAIA Scholar Athletes

Marshall, Mo., (May 4, 2026)- Missouri Valley College spring athletic teams have produced 40 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes for the 2026 spring sports season spread across nine separate programs. Leading the teams was men’s golf with ten NAIA Scholar Athletes.
Track and Field Produces Five Medalists at Heart Outdoor Championships

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, (May 2, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams competed at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Friday and Saturday. The women’s team was led by four Vikings that placed in the top three in their respective event. The men’s team was led by Freshman Luke Mosley (Jefferson City, Mo.), who placed third in the pole vault. Six Vikings earned Heart All-Conference status.
Track & Field Produce Multiple Event Winners at GV Viking Classic

Des Moines, Iowa, (April 24, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams competed at the GV Viking Classic in Des Moines, Iowa, Friday. The Vikings produced four individual champions in their respective events, and took first place in the men’s 4x100m relay. Junior Jozelynn Bostick (Centralia, Mo.) broke the school’s record in the 3000 meter steeplechase in a time of 11:41.49 at the Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College (Iowa).
Track & Field Competes at Wildcat Invite

Canton, Mo., (April 18, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams competed at the Wildcat Invite in Canton, Mo., Saturday. The Vikings competed against programs from multiple collegiate divisions at the event, producing an individual champion and 23 total finishes in the top ten.
Track & Field Teams Continue Outdoor Season at UCM Mule Relays

Warrensburg, Mo., (April 10, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams competed at the UCM Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Mo., Thursday and Friday. The Vikings competed against programs from multiple collegiate divisions at the event. Sophomore Montique Griffiths (Maypen, Jamaica) led the team with a third place finish in the 400 meter hurdles. Two other Vikings finished in the top ten in their respective event.

Fayette, Mo., (April 3, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track & field teams continued their outdoor seasons at the CMU Invite in Fayette, Mo., Thursday and Friday. Junior Jozelynn Bostick (Centralia, Mo.) led by winning the women's 3000 meter steeplechase, and the Vikings produced a total of 11 top ten finishes.

St. Louis, Mo., (March 28, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams competed at the Billiken Invitational in St. Louis, Mo., Saturday. The Vikings competed against programs from multiple collegiate divisions at the event. Junior Jozelynn Bostick (Centralia, Mo.) led the team with a first place finish in the women’s 3000 meter steeplechase. Both teams finished with a combined for 16 finishes in the top ten.

Rolla, Mo., (March 21, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams opened their outdoor season competing at the Miner Invitational in Rolla, Mo., Friday and Saturday. The Viking produced numerous top ten finishers, competing against NCAA Division II and NAIA programs.

Maryville, Mo., (Feb. 21, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams competed at the 2026 Heart Indoor Championships in Maryville, Mo., Friday and Saturday. Leading the men’s team was Freshman Luke Mosley (Jefferson City, Mo.), who placed seventh in the pole vault with a height of 4.30 meters. In the women’s team, three Vikings placed ninth in their event.

Maryville, Mo. (Feb. 7, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s track and field teams traveled to Maryville, Mo., to compete at the Bearcat Invite, Friday and Saturday. The men’s team was led by Xavier Adams, who placed No. 13 in the triple jump with a distance of 13.35 meters. Leading the women’s team was Freshman Johanna Watkins, who placed No. 14 in the high jump with a height of 1.48 meters.

Elsah, Ill. (Jan. 31, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s track and field teams continued their indoor seasons at the Principia (Ill.) Relays in Elsah, Ill. The men’s team was led by Sophomore Montique Griffiths, who won the 60 meter hurdles, with a time of 8.48. Leading the women’s team was Freshman Eniola Candice Alabi, who placed second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.86.

Columbia, Mo., (Jan. 16, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s track and field teams opened their indoor seasons Friday, competing at the Show-Me Showdown in Columbia, Mo., hosted by Mizzou (Mo.). The men’s team was led by Freshman Xavier Adams, who placed seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 13.10 meters. Leading the women’s team was Freshman Kali Brown, who placed seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 14.67 meters.
