Track & Field Teams Continue Outdoor Season at UCM Mule Relays
Warrensburg, Mo., (April 10, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams competed at the UCM Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Mo., Thursday and Friday. The Vikings competed against programs from multiple collegiate divisions at the event. Sophomore Montique Griffiths (Maypen, Jamaica) led the team with a third place finish in the 400 meter hurdles. Two other Vikings finished in the top ten in their respective event.
Men's Results:
Sophomore Montique Griffiths (Maypen, Jamaica): placed third in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 54.69.
Xavier Adams: placed eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 12.83 meters, placed tenth in the long jump with a distance of 6.51 meters, and placed 44th in the 100 meter dash prelims in a time of 11.15.
Sophomore Silas Morton (Strafford, Mo.): placed 13th in the javelin with a throw of 50.92 meters.
Freshman Luke Mosley (Jefferson City, Mo.): placed 13th in the pole vault with a jump of 4.45 meters.
Freshman Adrian Miles Jr. (Biloxi, Miss.) placed 17th in the discus with a distance of 44.78 meters, and placed 18th in the shot put with a distance of 13.50 meters.
Sophomore Steven Mills (Kansas City, Mo.): placed 26th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.30.
Freshman Asah Bailey (Kingston, Jamaica): placed 28th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.35, and placed No. 32 in the 100 meter dash prelims in a time of 11.06.
Junior Daytona Blaine (Shelbina, Mo.): placed 29th in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:58.78.
Freshman Gavin Beals (Centralia, Ill.): and placed 31st in the shot put with a distance of 11.97 meters.
Sophomore Harrison James (Kansas City, Mo.): placed 32nd in the 200 meter dash in a time of 22.49, and placed 45th in the 100 meter dash prelims in a time of 11.17.
Freshman Grant Supinski (Kenwood, Ohio): placed 32nd in shot put with a throw of 11.91 meters, and placed 38th in the discus with a throw of 36.04 meters.
Freshman Jacob Wade (Jefferson City, Mo.): placed 34th in the javelin with a throw of 35.33 meters, and placed 36th in the shot put with a distance of 11.00 meters.
Sophomore Amardeep Basra (Houston, Texas): placed 37th in the 400 meter dash in a time of 54.85.
Freshman Angel Campos (Los Fresnos, Texas): placed 42nd in the 5000 meter run in a time of 18:30.65.
Freshman Hudson Drydale (Blue Springs, Mo.): placed 54th in the 100 meter dash prelims in a time of 11.33.
Freshman Daniel Menefee (Ellisville, Mo.): placed 62nd in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:20.89.
Freshman Mason Anderson (Warsaw, Mo.): placed 66th in the 100 meter dash prelims in a time of 11.56.
Freshman Misael Tellez (Laredo, Texas): placed 69th in the 200 meter dash in a time of 24.74, and placed 81st in the 100 meter dash prelims in a time of 12.23.
The 4x100 Relay Team (Adams, Asah, Harrison, Mills) placed 13th with a time of 43.02.
The 4x400 Relay Team (Mills, Mason, Griffiths, Bailey) placed 11th with a time of 3:29.14.
Women's Results:
Junior Jozelynn Bostick (Centralia, Mo.): placed eighth in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 12:18.54, and placed 20th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:31.93.
Freshman Eniola Candice Alabi (Austin, Texas): placed 15th in the 200 meter dash in a time of 25.85.
Senior Federica Gammarota (Foggia, Italy): placed 11th in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:07:73, and placed 16th in the 100 meter hurdles prelims in a time of 17.27.
Senior Kali Brown (Smithville, Mo.): placed 11th in the discus with a throw of 39.49 meters, and placed 18th in the hammer throw with a distance of 46.13 meters.
Sophomore Jaedyn Smith (Taveres, Fla.): placed 30th in the shot put with a distance of 9.70 meters, and placed 33rd in the discus with a throw of 29.78 meters.
Sophomore Brynna Wentland (Higginsville, Mo.): placed 37th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:54.76.
The 4x400 Relay Team (Alabi, Gammarota, Wentland, Bostick) placed seventh with a time of 4:20.78.
Next up, the Viking track and field teams will compete at the Wildcat (Mo.) Invite, set for April 18, in Canton, Mo.
