Powerlifting Creates Program History at Collegiate Nationals

New Orleans, La., (April 14, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College powerlifting team competed at the USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals in New Orleans, La. A total of 22 Vikings competed and program-history was made with an individual National runner-up finish, to go with two All-Americans, one gold medalist and three total medalists.

Marshall, Mo., (Sept. 20, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College powerlifting programs hosted the USA Powerlifting Viking Invitational Friday inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The event included Coffeyville (Kan.), McKendree (Ill.) and William Jewell (Mo.) also bringing student athletes to compete. This was the first Friday meet Missouri USA Powerlifting has ever held in its history.
Former Women's Wrestlers Compete at Senior World Championships
