Powerlifter Competes at Prestigious Arnold Sports Festival

Columbus, Ohio, (March 7, 2026)- A Missouri Valley College powerlifter competed at the prestigious USA Powerlifting Arnold Sports Festival in Columbia, Ohio, Saturday.

 

Viking Powerlifter Senior Sarah Khamis (Vienna, Austria) competed at the USA Powerlifting Arnold Sports Festival, Female Raw Challenge as a part of The Arnold Classic, an elite level event and alongside some of the world's best drug free powerlifting competitors. 

 

Khamis placed 26th out of 41 competitors based on DOTS (Dynamic Objective Team Scoring) Squat 155 kg/ 341 lbs, Bench Press 82.5 kg/ 181 lbs, Deadlift 172.5 kg/ 380 lbs = 410 kg/ 902 lbs Total

 

All three lifts and the total were all time meet personal records for Khamis, and she finished with a 460.127 DOTS Score, adding 15 points to her qualifying score for this competition.
