Park City, Kan., (March 5, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men’s wrestling team opened competition at the 2026 NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championship in Park City, Kan., Thursday. Missouri Valley has five of its wrestlers set to compete on day two, led by No. 4 Junior Haden Hernandez (Huntington Beach, Calif.) who advanced to the championship quarterfinals at 125 pounds. Four other Vikings are in the consolation brackets.

No. 10 Men's Wrestling Tops William Wood on the Road

Fulton, Mo., (Feb. 10, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s wrestling traveled to Fulton, Mo., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual doubleheader, Tuesday evening. The No. 10 women’s team won nine of the ten weight classes, including three victories by pin to defeat William Woods (Mo.). The No. 10 men’s team earned a 41-6 win against the Owls, taking eight of the contest weight classes.

Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 7, 2026)- The No. 10 Missouri Valley College men’s wrestling team hosted the annual Missouri Valley Open inside the Burns Athletic Complex throughout the day Saturday. The Vikings competed against NCAA Division I, II and NAIA programs in the tournament. Seven Vikings advanced to the placing rounds, with one individual in the championship match.

The Vikings won five weight classes, including two victories by pin, to defeat the Eagles, 24-20.

St. Louis, Mo., (Jan. 29, 2026)- The No. 10 Missouri Valley College men’s wrestling team traveled to St. Louis, Mo., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual against Missouri Baptist, Thursday evening. The Vikings earned four victories by pin and finished with a 36-15 win in the dual.
No. 13 Men's Wrestling Finishes Second at Home Invitational, Producing One Individual Champion

Marshall, Mo., (Jan. 24, 2026)- The No. 13 Missouri Valley College men’s wrestling team finished the Missouri Valley Invitational, Saturday inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The event featured nearly 50 NAIA programs, with 450 individual wrestlers. Six Vikings advanced to the medal rounds, led by No. 16 Senior Randy Gonzalez (Lakewood, Calif.), who captured the 285 pound championship. The team placed second in the standings, best finish since winning the title back in 2018.

Marshall, Mo., (Jan. 23, 2026)- The No. 13 Missouri Valley College men’s wrestling team opened one of the largest collegiate men’s wrestling tournaments in the country with day one of the Missouri Valley Invitational, Friday inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The event features nearly 50 NAIA programs, with 450 individual wrestlers. Seven Vikings advanced to day two of the tournament, with five wrestlers in the semifinals. As a team, MVC is tied for first place in the standings with 83 points.
