No. 13 Men's Wrestling Finishes Second at Home Invitational, Producing One Individual Champion
Marshall, Mo., (Jan. 24, 2026)- The No. 13 Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team finished the Missouri Valley Invitational, Saturday inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The event featured nearly 50 NAIA programs, with 450 individual wrestlers. Six Vikings advanced to the medal rounds, led by No. 16 Senior Randy Gonzalez (Lakewood, Calif.), who captured the 285 pound championship. The team placed second in the standings, best finish since winning the title back in 2018.
