Winter Sports Program Produce Nearly 40 NAIA Scholar Athletes

Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 24, 2026)- Missouri Valley College winter athletic teams produced 38 NAIA Scholar Athletes across six athletic programs.

Missouri Valley was fourth overall in the Heart of America Athletic Conference with winter sports season NAIA Scholar Athletes.  The women's basketball team led the winter sports with 14 honorees, followed by men's wrestling with 11 honorees.  The fall sports teams produced 74 NAIA Scholar Athletes, and the institution has produced 112 NAIA Scholar Athletes so far for the 2025-26 athletic year.

Student-athletes must have achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, appear on the eligibility certificate, and be at least a sophomore in the classroom.
