Men's Wrestling Finish Competition at National Championship Producing Two All-Americans
Park City, Kan., (March 7, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team finished competition at the 2026 NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championship in Park City, Kan., Saturday. The Vikings produced two All-Americans, and placed No. 16 in the team standings.

No. 3 Junior Haden Hernandez (Huntington Beach, Calif.)-125 pounds:
First Round: Defeated Christopher Calderon of Westcliff (Calif.) in a 13-11 decision.
Second Round: Defeated Jordan Rodriguez of Cleary (Mich.) in an 8-3 decision.
Quarterfinal: Lost to No. 6 Isaac Hampton of Southern Oregon in a 6-4 decision.
Consolation Fourth Round: Defeated No. 9 Kobi Johnson of Providence (Mont.) in a 7-0 decision.
Consolation Fifth Round: Lost to No. 12 Jesse Lewis of Wayland Baptist (Texas) in a 5-2 decision.
7th Place Match: Defeated Braden Ledford of Friends (Kan.) in an 8-0 major decision.
