Lifting Sports Teams Set for Nationals
Marshall, Mo., (April 8, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College Lifting Sports teams will both be simultaneously competing in their National level competitions this week. This year marks a program record total for the number of National Qualifiers for both programs with 22 for powerlifting, and 9 for weightlifting.
The USA Weightlifting University Nationals takes place in Salt Lake City, Utah, from April 9-12.
Sophomore Jedidiah Kracl (Crete, NE) competes at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 9 in the 65kg weight class on the Stars platform.
Junior Earl Hollis (West Palm Beach, FL) competes at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 9 in the 71 kg weight class on the Stars platform.
Junior Corey Morabito (Landsdale, PA) competes at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 in the 60 kg weight class on the Blue platform.
