The Vikings took control of the second game early, using one kill from Hasse and Baptista to help make it a 4-1 advantage.  Missouri Valley won four-straight points as Junior Middle Blocker Joao Taveres (Parana, Brazil) landed two kills, Baptista put down one kill and the pair teamed up on a block to help put the score at 8-3.  Points were traded over the next stretch of play, which featured two kills from Martenelli, and one kill by both Baptista and Fargier to help put MVC's lead at 13-7.  Missouri Valley maintained its advantage at 19-13 after another Tavares kill, but Clarke began to chip away at its deficit.  The Pride eventually worked back to a 20-18 score, before a pair of CU errors and an ace by Fargier sent the Viking lead out to 23-18.  Another Pride error made it game-point, and Hasse ended game two with one more kill, as Missouri Valley earned a 25-20 win.

Missouri Valley built up a large lead at the start of the third game, winning nine of the opening ten points.  Freshman Leonardo Poiatti (Sao Paulo, Brazil) put down a pair of aces, while Hasse added two kills, and teamed up on a block with Martenelli.  Fargier also had a solo block and teamed up with Martenelli on another block to help the Vikings hold a 9-1 lead.  Clarke answered back to close the gap down to 10-6.  Baptista and Freshman Outside Hitter Bart Mulder (Hoogeveen, Netherlands) each had one kill to stretch the MVC advantage out to 13-8.  The Pride chipped away at the deficit until tying the game at 15-15.  Martenelli, Baptista and Hasse each landed one kill as Missouri Valley went back in front, 18-16.  The two teams traded points over the next stretch, with another Hasse kill making it a 20-19 Viking lead.  Clarke tied the score at 20-20, but Hasse finished off another kill and Sophomore Libero Bernardo Wolf Roese (Nova Petropolis, Brazil) followed with an ace to put MVC in front, 22-20.  The next two points went to Missouri Valley, on a Hasse kill and Poiatti ace to give the team match-point.  Fargier finished off one more kill to close the game at a 25-22 score, and give MVC a victory, 3-0 in games.
