Des Moines, Iowa, (Oct. 18, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's soccer teams traveled to Des Moines, Iowa for a Heart of America Athletic Conference doubleheader against Grand View (Iowa) Saturday afternoon. The No. 5 Viking women's team scored twice in the first half and secured a 2-1 win, while the men's team fell to No. 14 Grand View.
Missouri Valley held the better of possession early in the women's game, producing the first shot on goal with just over seven minutes played. Missouri Valley responded three minutes later, and Ferre sent a corner kick towards goal, and the attempt beat the GVU keeper to put the team ahead once again, 2-1. More shots were created by MVC through the entire half, as another four shots were saved through the 70-minute mark. Missouri Valley held Grand View to no shots on goal through the second half, and eventually finished out a 2-1 victory.
