Cross Country Teams Compete at Seminole Valley Stampede

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, (Oct.4, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Seminole Valley Stampede in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, against program's from multiple collegiate divisions.

 

Leading the men's team in the 8k race was Freshman Daniel Meneffe (Ellsville, Mo.) who finished at No. 88 overall with a time of 27:08.  Junior Dayton Blaine (Shelbina, Mo.) followed at No. 143 with a time of 28:22 and Senior Angel Lopez (Los Fresno, Texas) was No. 258 with a time of 44:54.

 

The women's team was led by Sophomore Faraja Nyasa (Kansas City, Mo.) who placed at No. 153 with a time of 30:04 in the 6k race.  Sophomore Brynna Wentland (Higginsville, Mo.) was No. 166 overall with a time of 33:26.

 

Up next, the cross country teams will compete at the Mark Spielman Classic in Baldwin City, Kan., Oct. 17.
