No. 10 Women's Wrestling Competes at the Jimmy May Open
Baldwin City, Kan. (Feb. 14, 2026)- The No. 10 Missouri Valley College women's wrestling team competed at the Jimmy May Open in Baldwin City, Kan., Saturday. Leading the team was Sophomore Sarah Pineda (Perris, Calif.) who placed second at 117 pounds, and both Freshman Janessa Avila (St. Clair, Mo.) and No. 15 Junior Maria Slaughter (Wentzville, Mo.) finished third in their respective weight classes.
