No. 10 Women's Wrestling Defeats No. 18 Central Methodist in Home Dual
Marshall, Mo., (Jan. 20, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College women's wrestling hosted No. 18 Central Methodist (Mo.) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual Tuesday evening inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The Vikings won six of the contest weight classes, including four victories by pin to earn a 28-21 victory.

103 pounds: Freshman Janessa Avila (St. Clair, Mo.) lost to Mya Hairston in a 10-0 technical fall. Central Methodist leads, 4-0.
110 pounds: Junior Raquel Garcia (Wilmington, Calif.) defeated Camilla Delgado in a first period (2:35) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 5-4.
117 pounds: No. 10 Sophomore Zao Estrada (Bluffton, S.C.) defeated No. 12 Yusneiry Agrazal in a 12-2 technical fall. Missouri Valley leads, 9-5
124 pounds: No. 10 Sophomore Jasmina Immaeva (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) lost to No. 14 Berlin Kiddo in a first period (2:08) pin. Central Methodist leads, 10-9.
131 pounds: Freshman Jerzie Estrada (Bluffton, S.C.) defeated Nonnie Justice in a second period (5:58) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 14-10.
138 pounds: No. 4 Junior Serenity De La Garza (McAllen, Texas) defeated Emily Neumann in a second period (4:37) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 19-10.
145 pounds: No. 5 Sarina Bertram (Platte City, Mo.) defeated Eve Herlyn in a 12-1 technical fall. Missouri Valley leads, 23-11.
160 pounds: Junior Maria Slaughter (Wentzville, Mo.) lost to No. 2 Allyssa Johnson in a first period (3:00) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 23-16.
180 pounds: No. 7 Senior Autumn Perez (Dodge City, Kan.) defeated No. 15 Grace Timmons in a first period (2:31) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 28-21.
207 pounds: Junior Hollie Hedgpeth (Cameron, Mo.) lost to No. 20 Christina Page in a second period (3:21) pin.
