Cedar Rapids, Iowa, (Jan. 9, 2026)- The No. 12 Missouri Valley College women's wrestling team opened competition at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Friday. The Vikings fell to a pair of top 15 teams.

103 pounds: Freshman Janessa Avila (St. Clair, Mo.) lost to No. 8 Alyssa Quezaire in a 10-0 technical fall. Life leads, 4-0.
110 pounds: Junior Raquel Garcia (Wilmington, Calif.) lost to No. 1 Ariana Martinez in a first period (1:21) pin. Life leads, 9-0.
117 pounds: Sophomore Zao Estrada (Bluffton, S.C.) lost to No. 2 Salyna Shotwell in a first period (1:48) pin. Life leads, 14-0.
