No. 11 Men's Wrestling Tops Briar Cliff in Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow, Okla., (Nov. 16, 2025)-The No. 11 Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team traveled to Broken Arrow, Okla., for a dual against Briar Cliff (Iowa). The Vikings won nine of the ten weight classes to earn a 38-2 victory.
165 pounds: No. 10 Senior Dayton Hill (Broken Arrow, Okla.) defeated No. 25 Jackson Balmer in a 12-3 major decision. Missouri Valley leads, 4-0.
174 pounds: No. 5 Senior Francis Morrissey (Warner Robins, Ga.) defeated Ethan Gregg in a 17-1 technical fall. Missouri Valley leads, 9-0.
184 pounds: Freshman Luke Sarich (Weiser, Idaho) lost to Jeremiah Bethel in a 4-3 decision. Briar Cliff was deducted one point due to a team unsportsmanlike violation. Missouri Valley leads, 9-2.
197 pounds: No. 5 Senior Elijah Hynes (Broken Arrow, Okla.) defeated Blake Butler in a first period (1:32) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 15-2.
285 pounds: No. 14 Senior Randy Gonzales (Lakewood, Calif.) defeated Charles Witas in a first period (2:15) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 21-2
125 pounds: No. 10 Junior Robert Albert (Cape Coral, Fla.) defeated No. 19 Dariuz Black in a 9-2 decision. Missouri Valley leads, 24-2.
133 pounds: Freshman Aiden Serrano (Indianola, Iowa) defeated No. 11 Dante Rigal in a 6-1 decision. Missouri Valley leads, 27-2
141 pounds: No. 5 Junior Haden Hernandez (Huntington Beach, Calif.) defeated Evan Fuchs in a 15-2 major decision. Missouri Valley leads, 31-2.
149 pounds: Freshman Thailyn Reynolds (Wasilla, Alaska) defeated Trystan Berry in a 9-6 decision. Missouri Valley leads, 34-2.
157 pounds: Junior Rich Hart (Perkins, Okla.) defeated Brandon Harris in an 18-4 decision.
Missouri Valley won, 38-2.
The Vikings are now 2-2 on the season in duals.
