No. 7 Men's Wrestling Opens Season at Mizzou Duals
Columbia, Mo., (Nov. 2, 2025)- The No. 7 Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team opened the 2025-26 season at the Mizzou Duals in Columbia, Mo., Saturday afternoon, taking on three NCAA Division II programs. The Vikings finished with a win over Drury (Mo.) at the event.

125lbs: No. 8 Junior Robert Albert (Cape Coral, Fla.) lost to Bryson Humphries in a 9-6 decision. Drury leads, 3-0.
133lbs: No. 6 Junior Haden Hernandez (Huntington Beach, Calif.) defeated Alden Serrano in a 16-10 decision. Dual is tied at 3-3.
141lbs: Junior Blaine Ortiz (Pineville, Mo.) lost to Garrett Salt in a second period (4:35) pin. Drury leads, 9-3.
149lbs: Junior Landen Lopez (Rio Grande City, Texas) lost to Mason Knight in a 17-0 technical fall. Drury leads, 14-3.
