No. 20 Men's Wrestling Goes 3-0 at Eagle Duals
Kansas City, Mo., (Dec. 14, 2024)- The No. 20 Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team competed at the Avila (Mo.) Eagles Duals, Saturday in Kansas City, Mo. The Vikings finished with a 3-0 record on the day, topping Ottawa (Kan.), Wayland Baptist (Texas) and Missouri Baptist.
Vs. Ottawa (Kan.)
125 pounds: Sophomore Jacob Flores (Tacoma, Wash.) defeated Anthony Piaia in an 18-1 technical fall. Missouri Valley leads, 5-0.
133 pounds: Junior Devin Martinez (El Monte, Calif.) defeated Robert Ramsey in a first period (1:16) pin. Missouri Valley leads, 11-0.
141 pounds: No. 19 Senior Donavan Parn (Brookfield, Mo.) defeated Jayden Nowell in a 15-0 technical fall. Missouri Valley leads, 16-0.

The team finished with a total of six pins and seven technical fall victories on the day. Missouri Valley improves to 6-1 on the season in duals.
