Tennis Teams Advance to Semifinals of Heart Championships

Kansas City, Mo., (April 18, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's tennis teams played at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships at the Plaza Tennis Complex in Kansas City, Mo., Friday.  Both teams advanced to the semifinals round of their respective tournaments.

 

Men's Results:

Quarterfinals:

No. 4 seed Missouri Valley vs. No. 5 seed Baker (Kan.)

Missouri Valley won, 4-0.

 

Semifinals:

No. 4 seed Missouri Valley vs. No. 1 seed William Woods (Mo.).

Missouri Valley lost, 3-4

Women's Results:

Quarterfinals:

No. 4 seed Missouri Valley vs. No. 5 seed John Brown (Ark.).

Missouri Valley won, 4-1.

 

Semifinals:

No. 4 seed Missouri Valley vs. No. 1 seed William Woods (Mo.).

Missouri Valley lost, 0-4.

 

The men's team finishes its season with an 6-7 record, while the women's team ends with a record of 8-4
