Men's Lacrosse Hosts St. Ambrose for Heart Contest

Marshall, Mo., (April 16, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's lacrosse team hosted St. Ambrose (Iowa), in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match Thursday evening inside Volney C. Ashford Stadium.

Freshman Goalkeeper Henry Mullen (Roy, Utah) made 16 saves, while Freshman Defender Preston Nicholson (Lee's Summit, Mo.) had two shots.  Sophomore Midfielder Daniel Venson (Waldorf, Md.) finished with one shot on target and collected three ground balls, and Junior Midfielder Jayden Franklin (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) added one shot on goal and picked up two ground balls.  The Vikings fell by a final score of 34-0.

Missouri Valley drops to 0-11 on the season and 0-7 in the Heart.  St. Ambrose improves to 6-4 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

Up next, the men's lacrosse team will host Columbia (Mo.), in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match for Senior Day, Saturday at 11 a.m., inside Volney C. Ashford Stadium.
