Men's Lacrosse Plays Against William Woods on the Road
Fulton, Mo., (April 11, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's lacrosse team traveled to Fulton, Mo., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference match against William Woods (Mo.) Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Defender Preston Nicholson (Lee's Summit, Mo.) scored a goal for the Vikings, while Sophomore Midfielder Daniel Venson (Waldorf, Md.) had two shots on target and picked up four ground balls. Junior Defender Andrew Mittl (Canberra, Australia) added two shots and collected two ground balls. Freshman Goalkeeper Henry Mullen (Roy, Utah) finished with 15 saves in goal. Missouri Valley forced 20 turnovers and fell by a final score of 29-1.
Missouri Valley drops to 10-0 on the season and 0-6 in the Heart. William Woods improves to 5-7 overall and 3-3 in the conference.
Up next, the men's lacrosse team will host St. Ambrose (Iowa), in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match, Thursday at 6 p.m., inside Volney C. Ashford Stadium.
