Men's Lacrosse Falls to Missouri Baptist on the Road
St. Louis, Mo., (March 14, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's lacrosse team traveled to St. Louis, Mo., to open Heart of America Athletic Conference play against Missouri Baptist, Saturday evening. The Vikings fell to the Spartans.
Junior Midfielder Jayden Franklin (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) had three shots and picked up three ground balls, while Freshman Defender Preston Nicholson (Lee's Summit, Mo.) added one shot and collected three ground balls. Three other Vikings finished with one shot each, and Freshman Goalkeeper Branden Brewer (Renton, Wash.) came up with 15 saves in the game. Missouri Valley forced 12 turnovers and fell by a final score of 36-0.
Missouri Valley drops to 0-4 on the season and 0-1 in the Heart. Missouri Baptist moves to 2-5 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
Up next, the men's lacrosse team will host Ottawa (Kan.), in a non-conference match, Wednesday at 4 p.m., inside Volney C. Ashford Stadium.
