Men's Lacrosse Drops Road Game at St. Ambrose

Davenport, Iowa, (April 9, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's lacrosse teams traveled to Davenport, Iowa for a Heart of America Athletic Conference doubleheader against St. Ambrose (Iowa).  Both teams fell in their contests, Wednesday evening.

 

 

The men's team was led by Freshman Midfielder Shiloh Martin (Upper Marlboro, Md.) scoring one goal.  Senior Goalkeeper Jake Lipscomb (Boiling Springs, S.C.) made 20 saves in goal.  Missouri Valley forced 18 turnovers and came up with 31 ground balls.  The Vikings fell by a final score of 19-1.

 

Missouri Valley falls to 0-7 overall and 0-7 in the Heart.  St. Ambrose moves to 6-6 on the season and 6-1 in the conference.

 

The Viking men's lacrosse team will next play on the road, Saturday at 6 p.m., in Columbia, Mo., against Columbia (Mo.).
