No. 7 Men's Golf Advances to the Final Rounds at NAIA National Championship

Silvis, Ill., (May 13, 2026)- The No. 7 Missouri Valley College men's golf team continued play on Wednesday with the second round of the 2026 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. The Vikings made the largest climb up the leaderboard in the round and made the cut to play in the tournament's final two rounds.

Freshman Joaquin Raminger (Buenos Aires, Argentina) led the team in the first round with a +2 (72). He finished the second round with a score of +4 (74) and is now at No. 15 in the standings with a +6 (146).

Sophomore Brad Storrer (Harare, Zimbabwe) added a +10 (80) in the first round.  He followed with a -2 (68), which included four birdies, and was tied for the lowest score of the second round among all golfers in the tournament.  Storrer moved up to No. 46 overall with a +8 (148).

Freshman Felipe Suarez (Cordoba, Argentina) started the tournament with a +4 (74) in the first round, and carded two birdies at the par-13th and par-16th on the second round.  Suarez finished with a +5 (75), to sit at No. 60 in the standings with a +9 (149).

Senior Chad Coburn (Bloemfontein, South Africa) opened the tournament with a +9 (79) in the first round, and followed with a second round score of +3 (73). Coburn totaled two birdies on the day and currently sits at No. 79 in the standings with a +12 (152) after two rounds of play.

Junior Leo Burger (Johannesburg, South Africa) finished with a +11 (81) on the first day, and came in at +13 (83) in the second round to place at No. 148 with +24 (164).

As a team, Missouri Valley climbed up to No. 13 in the standings with a total of +35 (595). No. 2 Oklahoma City leads the tournament with a score of +8 (568).

The Vikings men's golf team will play the third round beginning at 9 a.m., Thursday at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
