Bio

Jake Wilson joined the Missouri Valley College football coaching staff prior to the 2022 season, and is the special teams coordinator, coaches linebackers and oversees football operations.

Prior to his time at Missouri Valley, Wilson spent two seasons with Peru State (Neb.) as defensive line coach and special teams coordinator  In 2021 he was part of a staff that produced the No. 1 total defense and rush defense, along wiht the No. 2 pass defense and No. 6 ranked unit in sacks in the NAIA.  As a sepcial teams coach, he produced the No. 1 team in both field goal percentage and extra-point percentage in tha NAIA, along with a No. 9 ranking in kick off return average.  

Wilson played collegiately at Lyon (Ark.) where he earned a degree in business management, and later served as a student-assistant following the 2019 season.  He also earned a Master's in sports management from Chadron State (Neb.) in 2022.
