Bio
Erik Mays joined the Missouri Valley College football coaching staff prior to the 2025 season. Mays played professional football in 2023-24 for the Gillete Mustangs and Tulsa Oilers. He was a volunteer assistant coach for the Marshall (Mo.) High School Team, coaching the defensive backs. Mays earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from Central Methodist (Mo.).
