Dance Competes at Benedictine Classic

Atchison, Kan., (Feb. 15, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College cheer and dance teams competed at the Benedictine (Kan.) Classic, Sunday. The cheer team took second place in their event standings, and the dance team finished fourth in its competition.

 

In the cheer competition, teams only performed once, and Missouri Valley finished with a final score of 88.43 to take the second place in the event. University of St. Mary (Kan.) won with a final score of 88.63, and Benedictine (Kan.) placed third with a score of 74.36.

Benedictine Classic-Cheer:

  1. University of St. Mary (Kan.)- 88.63

  2. Missouri Valley College- 88.43

  3. Benedictine College (Kan.)- 74.36

  4. Peru State College (Neb.)- 66.42

  5. Cottey College (Mo.)- 41.97

 

In the dance competition, teams only performed once, and Missouri Valley placed fourth overall, with a score of 67.17. Benedictine (Kan.) took first place with a final score of 81.58.

Benedictine Classic-Dance:

  1. Benedictine College (Kan.)- 81.58

  2. University of St. Mary (Kan.)- 79.54

  3. Columbia College (Mo.)- 76.79

  4. Missouri Valley College- 67.17

 

Up next, the competitive cheer and dance team will compete at the Cougar (Mo.) Classic, Feb. 21, in Columbia, Mo.
