Dance Team Places Second at Columbia Cougar Classic

Columbia, Mo., (Feb. 20, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College dance team competed at the Columbia (Mo.) Cougar Classic in Columbia, Mo., Thursday evening.  The Vikings finished second overall at the competition.

 

Missouri Valley earned scores of 66.8 and 69.9 from the judges to finish with an average of 68.35.  The team suffered a five-point deduction to earn a final score of 63.35.  This is the second-best score for the team on the season.

 

Missouri Valley placed second overall in the competition.  Columbia (Mo.) finished in first place, with a final score of 80.50.

 

Next up for the dance team is the Baker (Kan.) Classic, March 1 in Baldwin City, Kan.
