Dance Places Third at Columbia Cougar Classic

Columbia, Mo., (Feb. 23, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College dance team continued its competition season with a performance at the Columbia Cougar Classic in Columbia, Mo., Friday evening.  The Vikings finished third overall in the event.

Missouri Valley performed in its third competition of the season, and finished with a final score of 55.53.  Missouri Baptist won the competition with a final score of 72.27 and William Penn (Iowa) was second with a score of 69.47.

Through three competitions, Missouri Valley carries an overall average of 58.55, which is ranked at No. 33 in the NAIA.

Up next, the Viking dance team will compete at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship, March 9, in Baldwin City, Kan.
