Cheer Team Finished Second at York Crown Classic

York, Neb., (Feb. 7, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College cheer team competed at the York Crown Classic in York, Neb., Friday. The Vikings finished second out of 15 teams with a final score of 86.4.

In the cheer competition, teams only performed once, and the Vikings earned scores of 87.4, 86.9 and 87.9 from the three judges, for a raw score of 87.4. The team suffered a 1 point deduction, and finished with a final score of 86.4 to take second place in the event. 

Up next, the Vikings cheer team will compete at Nebraska Day of Duals in Seward, Neb., tomorrow. Missouri Valley is scheduled to perform at approximately 11 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
