Esports Marvel Rivals Finish Season with National Championship Series

Marshall, Mo., (May 7, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College Esports Marvel Rivals team finished its season competing in the NECC National Championship round. 

Missouri Valley lost to Seton Hill (Pa.) in a best-of-seven series, 4-1.  Senior Wyatt Nordean (Orange Park, Fla.) finished with 21 eliminations in game one.  Game two featured 33 eliminations by Senior Peyton Pinter (Leavenworth, Kan.), and Sophomore Diogo Hansen (Blumenau, Brazil) had 33,000 healing in game three.

The Viking Marvel Rivals ends season with a 13-1 overall record.
