Men's Golf Moves Up to No. 11 in Latest Coaches' Poll

Marshall, Mo., (April 17, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's golf team has made a jump up the rankings with the latest NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Friday.

The Viking men's golf team moved up four spots from the previous poll, and sit at No. 11.  This is tied for the highest ranking of the season, and in program-history for men's golf.  Since the previous coaches' poll was released two weeks ago, the team captured first place by 17 strokes at the Midwest National Spring Invite at Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan, Kan.  Freshman Joaquin Raminger (Buenos Aires, Argentina) won the tournament with a three-round score of -10 (206) and was named both the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week and the NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week for his play.

Two other teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference are ranked in the current coaches' poll.  MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) fell to No. 13 and William Woods (Mo.) entered the poll at No. 21.

Up next, the Viking golf teams will host the MVC Spring Invite at Indian Foothills Golf Course, Monday and Tuesday.
