Marshall, Mo., (April 13, 2026)- A Missouri Valley College men's golf student-athlete earned a weekly award from the Heart of America Athletic Conference for his play in last week's competition at the Midwest National Spring Invite at Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan, Kan.

Freshman Joaquin Raminger (Buenos Aires, Argentina), was named the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week leading the team to a first place overall finish at the Midwest National Spring Invite.  Raminger finished with a three-round score of -10 (206) to win the tournament by three strokes.  He was the only player to go under-par in all three rounds, and finished with rounds of -2 (70), -3 (69), and -5 (67).

Raminger led the No. 15 Vikings to a team title, winning the tournament by 17 strokes and with a final score of even-par (864).  This is the first weekly award for Raminger in his career.

Up next, the men's program will compete at the CMU Reserve Tournament at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Mo., April 16.  The Viking golf teams will also host the Missouri Valley Spring Invite, at Indian Foothills Golf Course, April 20-21.
