Men's Volleyball Moves Back Into Coaches' Poll Top Five

Marshall, Mo., (April 8, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's volleyball team moved back into the top five in the latest NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 Poll, released Wednesday.

Missouri Valley moved up two spots from the previous coaches' poll, and sits at No. 4 in the rankings going into the postseason.  The Vikings finished with a 5-0 record during the latest ratings period, winning each contest in a sweep.  The wins came over Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.), Kansas Wesleyan, Graceland (Iowa), Clarke (Iowa) and then-No. 4 Mount Mercy (Iowa).  Tuesday's win over Ottawa (Kan.) did not factor into this edition of the coaches' poll.

A total of four other programs from the Heart of America Athletic Conference join Missouri Valley in the rankings.  Park (Mo.) stayed at No. 2, Mount Mercy fell to No. 5, William Penn (Iowa) remained at No. 9 and Grand View (Iowa) moved into the coaches' poll at No. 14.

Missouri Valley is 21-4 overall and finished with a 15-4 record in the Heart.  The Vikings earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Heart Postseason Championship, and will host No. 6 seed Dordt (Iowa) in a quarterfinal match, Saturday.  Dordt defeated Missouri Valley in Sioux Center, Iowa, in five games back on March 20.  Saturday's quarterfinal contest starts at 7 p.m., inside the Burns Athletic Complex.
