Rylee Mills Hired as New Assistant Cheer Coach
Marshall, Mo., (March 31, 2026)- Missouri Valley College Athletics has announced that five-time all-American Rylee Mills is returning home to his alma mater as the assistant cheer coach.
Mills, who earned his bachelor's in exercise science in 2024, currently is employed as a paraprofessional in the Oak Grove School District. He is moving to Marshall and will begin recruiting for the Vikings soon.
"I am beyond excited to return to Valley and get the ball rolling," he said. "This campus is home to me. So many great memories were built at Valley, and I can't wait to help others do the same."
Mills, who will also serve as an admissions counselor, is currently assistant cheer coach at Oak Grove. He was cheerleader of the year twice during his time at Missouri Valley, as well as a five-time all-conference performer. He was recognized by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, and received the MVC Hall of Fame Scholarship.
Mills is in the process of completing his master's degree at Morehead State University in Kentucky.
