Women's Wrestling Redy For NAIA National Championship
Marshall, Mo., (March 12, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College women's wrestling team is set for competition at the 2026 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championship, beginning Friday and lasting through Saturday at Park City Arena in Park City, Kan. Ten Vikings will compete for a National Championship. Five Vikings enter the tournament with National seeds.
Sophomore Zao Estrada (Bluffton, S.C.) competes at 117 pounds and is the No. 3 seed in the weight class. Estrada earned an automatic berth into the National championship, placing second at the Heart Championship. She is making her first appearance at the National championship, and enters the competition with a 6-3 on the season.
Junior Serenity De La Garza (McAllen, Texas) will compete at 138 pounds as the No. 5 seed in the weight class and is 19-7 on the season. De La Garza earned an automatic berth into the National championship with her second place finish at the Heart championship. She is a two-time All American, and this is her third appearance at the National tournament, finishing with a 7-6 in her previous appearances.
Senior Brooke-Lynn Rush (St. Joseph, Mo.) is the No. 8 seed at 145 pounds, and earned an automatic berth into the tournament after placing second at the Heart Championship. She takes a 6-1 record on the season into the weekend and is 4-4 at the National tournament in two previous appearances.
Senior Sarina Bertram (Platte City, Mo.) will compete at 145 pounds as the No. 7 seed and is 23-10 on the season. She earned an automatic berth at the National championship, winning the 145 pound Heart championship. This is Bertram's second appearance in the tournament, but first as a Viking.
Junior Maria Slaughter (Wentzville, Mo.) competes at 160 pounds as the No. 7 seed. She won the 160 pounds weight class at the Heart championship to earn an automatic berth into the National championship and is 16-3 on the season. Slaughter is making her second appearance in the tournament, going 0-2 at the event.
Junior Raquel Garcia (Wilmington, Calif.) will wrestle at the National tournament for the first time, and earned an at-large berth at 110 pounds. She finished eighth at the Heart championship. Garcia enters the National championship with a record of 5-11.
Sophomore Sarah Pineda (Perris, Calif.) is appearing for the second time at the National championship, competing at 117 pounds and with a 0-2 record at the tournament. Pineda earned an automatic berth at the National championship with her seventh placement at the Heart Championship. She is 14-9 on the season.
Sophomore Isla Baeza (Orem, Utah) will compete at 124 pounds. She earned an automatic berth at the National championship after placing fifth at the Heart championship and is 19-11 on the season. This is Baeza's second appearance at the National championship, going 0-2 in last year's tournament.
Sophomore Jasmina Immaeva (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) competes at 124 pounds and is 19-11 on the season. Immaeva was an All-American last year, and this is her second appearance at the National championship. She is 4-2 all-time at the event.
Senior Autumn Perez (Dodge City, Kan.) will compete for the first time at the National championship at 180 pounds, and is going with a 17-7 record. Perez earned an automatic berth in the tournament as she placed third at the Heart Championship.
The 2026 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championship begins March 13, Friday, and lasts through March 14, Saturday, with four sessions inside Park City Arena in Park City, Kan.
Session I-Friday at 10 a.m.
Championship First Round, Championship Second Round, Consolation First Round, Consolation Second Round.
Session II-Friday at 5 p.m.
Championship Quarterfinal, Consolation Third Round, Consolation Fourth Round (All-Americans will be determined in Session II).
Session III-Saturday at 10 a.m.
Championship Semifinals, Consolation Fifth Round, Consolation Semifinals, Placement Matches (3rd, 5th, 7th place).
Session IV-Saturday at 7 p.m.
National Championship Round in all ten weight classes.
