Women's Wrestling Moves to No. 8, Ten Individuals Nationall Ranked
Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 18, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College women's wrestling team moved up the rankings with the latest NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll released Thursday. A season-high ten individuals are Nationally ranked.
The Vikings jumped up two places from the previous coaches' poll, and are now ranked No. 8, the highest spot for the team this season. During the previous ratings period, the Vikings defeated No. 17 Baker (Kan.), William Woods (Mo.) and No. 17 Missouri Baptist in duals, competed at the Grand View (Iowa) Open and Jimmy May Open, and dropped a dual to No. 4 William Penn.
Missouri Valley is one of six teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference ranked in the coaches' poll. Grand View (Iowa) is No. 2, William Penn (Iowa) moved up to No. 4, Central Methodist (Mo.) stayed at No. 16, Baker (Kan.) jumped to No. 17 and Missouri Baptist moved to No. 17.
A new season-high of 10 individual Vikings are Nationally ranked in their respective weight classes. Leading the team is No. 3 Sophomore Zao Estrada (Bluffton, S.C.) at 117 pounds. The other ranked individuals include:

No. 10 Sophomore Jasmina Immaeva (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) at 124 pounds.
No. 14 Sophomore Isla Baeza (Orem, Utah) at 124 pounds.
No. 19 Junior Jerzie Estrada (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) 131 pounds.
No. 5 Junior Serenity De La Garza (McAllen, Texas) at 138 pounds.
No. 6 Senior Brooke-Lynn Rush (St. Joseph, Mo.) at 145 pounds.
No. 12 Senior Sarina Bertram (Platte City, Mo.) at 145 pounds.
No. 15 Junior Maria Slaughter (Wentzville, Mo.) at 160 pounds.
No. 7 Senior Autumn Perez (Dodge City, Kan.) at 180 pounds.
Up next, the Viking women's wrestling team will compete at the Heart Championship, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Feb. 28.
