Esports Rocket League & Marvel Rivals Finish Undefeated Week
Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 13, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College Esports programs went undefeated in competitions throughout the week. The Rocket League program won three contests, and the Marvel Rivals team also earned a victory.
In Rocket League, the Vikings swept William Penn (Iowa), in a best-of-five Heart of America Athletic Conference series. The team won by scores of 6-0, 4-0, 4-0. Senior Dominic Hoskin (Witham, England) led with six goals, while Junior Lucas Evans (Newcastle, England) added seven goals and two assists, and Sophomore Quentin Revillard (Lyon, France) had one goal and five assists. The team improves to 2-2 in the Heart standings. Next up is a doubleheader, Thursday, against Baker (Kan.) and Columbia (Mo.), beginning at 6 p.m.
In NECC competition, the Varsity Rocket League team swept Missouri State in a best-of-seven series, by scores of 4-3, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1. Revillard led with six goals and four assists, while Hoskin added four goals and three assists. Evans totaled three goals and one assist. The team improved to 2-0 on the season. Up next is a series with Northern Illinois, Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Rocket League VR team swept Hesston (Kan.) in a best-of-seven series by scores of 4-0, 8-1, 4-1, 6-1. Freshman Charles Bedosky (Kansas City, Mo.) led with seven goals and six assists, while Freshman Chase Schlossenberg (Kansas City, Mo.) totaled six goals and seven assists. Freshman Diego Marota (Madrid, Spain) had nine goals and five assists. The team improved to 2-0 on the season. Next is a series with Southern Nazarene (Okla.), Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Marvel Rivals competed in the NECC Division VI, sweeping Concordia (Neb.) in a best-of-five series. The team was led by Senior Peyton Pinter (Leavenworth, Kan.) who totaled 46 eliminations in game two of the series. The win moves the Marvel Rivals team to 2-0 on the season. Up next is a series with TCU, Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
