Rocket League Opens Heart Season Against Central Methodist

Marshall, Mo., (Jan. 30, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College eSports Rocket League team opened its season with a Heart of America Athletic Conference series against Central Methodist (Mo.), Thursday.  The Vikings fell in the best-of-five series, 3-1 in games.

 

The series started with Missouri Valley dropping the opening game, by a 5-2 score, but responding with a 3-2 win in game two.  The Vikings were held scoreless in the next two games, losing each by scores of 2-0 and 1-0, to fall in the series, 3-1 in games.

 

Senior Dominic Hoskin (Witham, England) led the team with three goals and one assist, adding seven saves.  Sophomore Quentin Revillard (Lyon, France) scored two goals.

 

Missouri Valley falls to 0-1 on the Rocket League season, and will next be in action Thursday at 7 p.m., against Clarke (Iowa) inside the MVC eSports Arena.
