Women's Volleyball Puts Two on Heart All-Conference Team

Marshall, Mo., (Nov. 19, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College women's volleyball team has put two of its student-athletes on the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference Team, released Wednesday, for their performances during the season.

 

Leading the selections is Senior Libero Ana Franco (Cascais, Portugal), who was named to the all-conference third team. Franco led the team with 370 digs during the season, 4.25 digs per game, and added 23 aces. She also finished with 70 assists this season. Franco earned her second all-conference honor, as she was named all-conference second team last season.

 

Also recognized was Senior Outside Hitter Juliana Oliviera (Sao Paulo, Brazil), on the honorable mention list. Oliveira led the team with 222 kills, 2.29 kills per game average during the season, and 277.5 points. She also finished with 36 service aces, totaled 251 digs, and 32 total blocks. Oliviera was named all-conference second team in her first season with the program back in 2023. 

 

The women's volleyball team finished with a 13-16 record overall, and a 6-12  record in the Heart, in the second season under Head Coach Nicole Murphy.
