Twelve Programs Earn NAIA Scholar Team Award

Marshall, Mo., (Sept. 15, 2025)- Twelve Missouri Valley College athletic programs were recognized on the 2024-25 NAIA Scholar Teams list, which was released Monday by the NAIA.

To be eligible for this honor, varsity teams must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2024-25 academic year.  The team grade-point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.

Men's Golf

Women's Golf

Women's Volleyball

Softball

Men's Basketball

Women's Basketball

Women's Tennis

Men's Wrestling

Women's Cross Country

Men's Volleyball

The women's volleyball team posted the highest GPA during the academic year, at 3.51, followed by the women's basketball team with a 3.41.

Since the 2006-07 academic year, 174 Missouri Valley athletic teams have been recognized as NAIA Scholar Teams.
