Archery Program Competes at USA Archery Indoor Regionals

Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 6, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College archery team recently competed for the first time in program-history, at the USA Archery Indoor Regionals.

 

Alyssa Willis competed in the Women's Barebow Under-21 Class and finished second at the region.  Willis finished with a score of 829/1200 at the competition.  The second place finish puts Willis in a possible wild-card spot for the USA Archery Indoor National Championship.  Wild-card spots will be determined after all regional competitions have been complete.

 

Also for the team, Brighid Groom placed ninth in the Compound Senior Women's Class, finishing with a score of 924/1200, and Elsie Heimericks was tenth in the Compound Senior Women's Class with a score of 876/1200.  Carter Taylor placed tenth in the Men's Compound Senior Class, with a score of 1100/1200.
