The Vikings were led by two individual champions, No. 15 Junior Maria Slaughter (Wentzville, Mo.) at 160 pounds, who also won the Co-Tournament Outstanding Wrestler award,  and No. 12 Senior Sarina Bertram (Platte City, Mo.) at 145 pounds.  Eight individuals earned automatic qualifying into the 2026 Women&#x2019;s Wrestling National Championship, and the team placed third in the standings.</description>

      <description>Crete, Neb., (Dec. 5, 2025)- The No. 18 Missouri Valley College women&#x2019;s wrestling team traveled to Crete, Neb., to compete at the Doane Open, Friday.  The Vikings competed against programs from multiple divisions.  The team was led by No. 3 Sophomore Jasmina Immaeva (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) and No. 4 Junior Serenity De La Garza (McAllen, Texas), both placed second in their respective weight classes.  Senior Sarina Bertram (Platte City, Mo.) also finished third at 145 pounds.</description>

      <description>Marshall, Mo., (Nov. 22, 2025)- The No. 18 Missouri Valley College women&#x2019;s wrestling team hosted the annual Missouri Valley Open, Friday and Saturday inside the Burns Athletic Complex, featuring teams across all divisions of collegiate women's wrestling, including NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and JUCO.  The Missouri Valley Open is the largest women's collegiate wrestling tournament in the country, and includes more than 50 teams and over 700 women's wrestlers.  The Vikings were led by No. 4 Junior Serenity De La Garza (McAllen, Texas), who placed fifth at 138 pounds, and Senior Sarina Bertram (Platte City, Mo.). who finished sixth at 145 pounds.</description>
