Marshall, Mo., (Jan. 29, 2024)- The No. 19 Missouri Valley College women's wrestling team welcomed in No. 4 Grand View (Iowa) for a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual Monday evening inside the Burns Athletic Complex.
101 pounds: Sophomore Sage Beltran (Honolulu, Hawaii) lost to No. 12 Jalen Bets in a 7-4 decision. Grand View leads, 3-1.
109 pounds: No. 12 Junior Hailey Holland (San Bernardino, Calif.) lost to No. 9 Judy Sandoval in a second period (4:22) pin. Grand View leads, 8-1.
116 pounds: No. 13 Laura Lincoln (Searcy, Ark.) lost to No. 15 Mayangelie Colon in a 10-0 technical fall. Grand View leads, 12-1.
123 pounds: Missouri Valley left the weight class open. No. 12 Cailin Campbell won by forfeit. Grand View leads, 17-1.
130 pounds: Sophomore Madeline Santana (San Bernardino, Calif.) lost to No. 2 Maya Davis in a 10-0 technical fall. Grand View leads, 21-1.
136 pounds: Senior Aniesta Acosta (Sacramento, Calif.) lost to No. 3 Andrea Schlabach in a first period (1:37) pin. Grand View leads, 26-1.
143 pounds: No. 18 Freshman Maria Slaughter (Wentzville, Mo.) lost to Krista Warren in a second period (3:27) pin. Grand View leads, 31-1.
155 pounds: Senior Brooke-Lynn Rush (St. Joseph, Mo.) defeated No. 9 Mahealani Ramirez in a 3-2 decision. Grand View leads, 32-4.
170 pounds: Junior Elise Falcetti (St. Louis, Mo.) lost to No. 2 Abby McIntyre in a first period (1:28) pin. Grand View leads, 37-4.
191 pounds: Freshman Tylah Allen (Jonesboro, Ark.) lost to No. 3 Olivia Brown in a first period (2:11) pin.
Grand View defeated Missouri Valley, 42-4.

136 pounds: Senior Willow Barnes (Romulus, Mich.) defeated Laura Kipnusu in an 8-4 decision.
Missouri Valley drops to 3-8 on the season in duals, while Grand View improves to 9-2.
