Cheer in Top Ten After Preliminary Performances at National Championship
Ypsilanti, Mich., (March 29, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College cheer team competed in the preliminary round of the 2024 NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship in Ypsilanti, Mich., Friday afternoon. The Vikings are in the top ten after preliminary performances.
Missouri Valley earned scores of 88.1, 87.1, and 88.0 from the three judges. The team did not suffer any point deductions and finished with a score of 87.73 in its preliminary round performance, Friday. The Vikings sit eighth in the standings going into Saturday's final performances.
Missouri Valley will perform in the final round of competition, Saturday. The cheer final performances begin at 9 a.m. (Central), and the Vikings will perform at 10:10 a.m. (Central).
